Welcome President Obama!
"Bye Bye Bush!"The day has finally come where we can all rejoice why we live here in this wonderful country! As I sat here at work streaming the inauguration on my iMac with co-workers, we were all amazed with the calmness and peace we felt listening to Mr. President Obama tell us that the new journey will be difficult but we will prevail stronger and better than before.
This has been the longest two months of anticipation and excitement. Waking Ellie up this morning was especially special, reminding her that we get a new president today. She said to me "really, today?...Woo Hoo!" Exactly Ellie...Woo Hoo!

Fabulous Day of Skiing!
We had a fantastic day of skiing! The weather was 50 degrees in January and didn't even have to wear a coat.

Cold Day at the Zoo!
Jake and I went to the Zoo today to see new baby Sam (who weighs 700 lbs!). We had a great time but it was only 35 degrees outside!

Chef Ellie
Ellie received an great cupcake maker for Christmas, and she has been having a great time being the pastry chef of the house!
